The tutorial showing how to do the board setup, one is instructed to not include F and B fab. When one applies the changes a warning about the non inclusion affecting the footprints shows. The tutorial ignores the warning. What exactly does that do to the footprints? How will my work be affected.
In the board setup tutorial F.Fab and B.Fab is removed to simplify the board design for beginners.
Some footprint that comes default in KiCad have F.Fab and B.Fab layers. That’s the reason there’s a warning after not including these layers. But anyway this shouldn’t affect the functionality of the board design, as these layer is just for manufacturers reference.
