Terms of Service

By accessing or using any PCB Cupid service — including Circuit Spell, the open-source module library, the e-commerce shop, or the community forum (collectively, the “Services”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services to design hardware intended to harm, deceive, or defraud others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Services without written permission.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or billing mechanisms.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Resell or sublicense access to Circuit Spell without an explicit enterprise agreement.

Hardware module designs published in our open-source library are released under the CERN Open Hardware Licence v2 – Permissive (CERN-OHL-P). You may use, modify, and manufacture these designs freely. PCB Cupid makes no warranty regarding the fitness of these designs for any particular application. Always independently validate designs before use in safety-critical or regulated products.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Physical orders (shop purchases) are charged at the time of order placement. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Physical goods may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging; contact [email protected].

PCB Cupid retains all rights to the Circuit Spell software, brand, and proprietary AI models. PCB designs and schematics you generate using Circuit Spell are owned by you. By using the Services you grant PCB Cupid a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your designs solely for the purpose of delivering the Services to you.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated designs are suggestions, not certified engineering output. You are solely responsible for validating designs before manufacture or deployment.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PCB CUPID’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PCB CUPID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100. IN NO EVENT SHALL PCB CUPID BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
